About Z
I'm a full scope editor and creative. My journey in the literary industry began in 2020 as a bookseller with my mobile bookshop, What the Book? Since then, I have expanded my offerings to include custom bookish products that can still be found on my online storefront.

My literary entrepreneurial journey has given me an incredible opportunity to connect with numerous indie authors. A common theme in our discussions is the cost associated with self-publishing, particularly regarding editing. I've found that many indie authors choose to forgo hiring professional editors. However, investing in professional editing is one of the most crucial steps you can take when preparing to publish a book. It is one of the areas that indie authors are critiqued on the most.

Reading indie is like finding off-the-beaten-path music. You find unique when you go non-traditional. I personally feel that indie authors should have a trusted editor that would care for their creation as if it were their own, ME.
I decided to use a part of my education (BA in English language, rhetoric, and writing) to advocate for indie authors by making editing services accessible and affordable. Since making that decision, I have collaborated with numerous authors on various projects, including high fantasy, fantasy, horror, romance, poetry, and bilingual narratives.
I even started offering manuscript translations services in English and Spanish.
So, whether you're looking for unique, custom-made, bookish merchandise, a translator, or a dedicated editor, I've got you covered!
Your friend and fellow book lover,
-Z
